How Do I Login?To log in to Spark Learning Pals' online platform, visit our website and select the login button in the upper right-hand corner. Use the email address and password you provided when you signed up for our program to log in. After logging in, a drop-down menu will appear - if it doesn't, refresh your page. From there, just select your program from the list of options where you can find all our classes, weekly updated supply lists, and the digital calendar of our live classes. Note that our digital calendar automatically adjusts to your time zone.

I’m new to the Rocket Program. Where do I start?To get started with the Rocket Program, log in using the email and password you provided when signing up. Once logged in, select the Rocket Program page that corresponds to your child's age group from the drop-down menu. Here are the recommended age ranges for our Learning Pal classes: - PreK/Kindergarten: 3-5 years - Early Primary: 6-8 years - Primary: 9-11 years - Intermediate: 12-14 years You'll find all your child's Rocket Program Learning Pal classes for their age, as well as the Rocket Program-only classes and Launch Pad Program classes.

I’m new to the Launch Pad Program. Where do I start?To access your Launch Pad Program, log in using your email and password. A drop-down menu will appear. If it doesn't, refresh the page. Select "Launch Pad Program" from the menu. On this page, you will find a printable weekly calendar with the days and times of all our classes (in EST). You will also find a supply list for each class, in alphabetical order. Click on each class's supplies to access needed PDFs. Classes with long supply lists will have a vertical navigation bar to ensure you review all needed supplies. Our supply lists are updated weekly. Below the supply list, you will see a digital calendar with all available classes for your children to attend, synced to your time zone. Click on each class to see its date/time, needed supplies, and a link to join. No pre-registration is required. Simply click the link at the time of class and your child will be let into class. Consider creating individual profiles for each child to make the process easier.

How Do I Find the Supplies for Class?To find the supplies you'll need for your class, login with your email address and password, select your program from the drop-down menu, and open the Supply List. All current classes are listed alphabetically. If a class requires a specific worksheet, you'll find a PDF with a live link on the supply list. Check each class's supply list, as some classes have a vertical navigation bar if they have a long list. The supply list is updated weekly, so regularly check it for your children's classes. For quicker access, use your children's individual student profiles, which only show the classes they favorite. This makes viewing and downloading any needed supplies much easier.

How Do I Join Class?To log in to our live classes, use our digital calendars. These calendars have links which take you to class at the scheduled time. To find the digital calendar, log in and select your program option from the drop-down menu. You can find it at the bottom of the page, and it will adjust automatically to your time zone. Please note, printable calendars linked to program pages list class times in EST. No need to sign up beforehand, just select the link at the time of class. All class-related supplies will be linked on the supply list and the digital calendar.

How to Find On-Demand VideosOn-demand classes can be accessed by visiting our program pages and finding the class from the supply list. Simply click the "Watch Class Videos" button to access a library of recordings for the respective class, along with necessary supplies. You can find this button even in your child's student profile. We update our on-demand library every week. If you can't find a recently occurred class video, check back in a day or two. We update all class recordings on our platform within a week of the live class date.

I can't get into class. Please help!If you are having trouble joining one of our live classes, please email the teacher directly rather than trying to get manually logged in. This is because the teacher has full control over class admission and logged-in learners. A quick heads-up: It's best to make it on time since teachers generally do not let in additional learners once the class has started, for the sake of the virtual learning environment.

How do I Create Student Profiles & Favorite Classes?To create student profiles and favorite classes, follow these easy steps: 1. Log in to your account by clicking the "log in" option in the top right-hand corner of the screen. 2. Select "Student Profiles" from the drop-down menu. 3. Enter your child's name and select "Submit." Repeat this process for all of your children. Note: If you are enrolled in our Rocket Program - One Student Plan, you can only create one student profile. 4. Once you have entered all of your children's names and see the individual student profiles listed, go into the Program Pages and select your program option from the new white drop-down menu that appears. 5. Select the available classes by going through the Supply List and selecting the red "Add to Favorites" button. 6. When the pop-up screen appears, select the child you would like to add the class for. You can choose more than one child here. 7. Once the class is successfully added, you will receive a notification saying "Successfully added to favorites for (child's name)." Repeat this process for all of your child's classes. 8. Once you have added all of your child's favorite classes, they will appear in your child's profile along with an individual digital calendar of classes.

How Does My Child Select an Avatar for Their Profile?To select an avatar for their student profile, your child can simply follow a few easy steps. First, create your child's profile by entering their name and basic information. Then, select the avatar of your child's choice from the available options. The chosen avatar will automatically appear in your child's profile.

How Does My Child Earn Achievement Badges & Stickers?Your child can earn achievement badges and stickers by attending classes and registering their attendance using the "Register Attendance" button. Once attendance is registered, virtual stickers and achievement badges will automatically appear on your child's profile. The more classes your child attends (both live and on-demand), the more badges and stickers they will receive. All virtual badges and stickers will be synced to your child's profile and can be viewed at any time.

How to Register Attendance for Classes?To register your child's attendance for classes, click the "Register Attendance" button before they attend a live or on-demand class. A light box will appear with a list of your children's names - select the name of the child attending the class. Our system will save this information and the date your child attended. Attendance data syncs automatically to your Parent Report. Please note that all attendance data is final and the responsibility of the parent or guardian. Remember to select the "Register Attendance" button and keep track of your children's activity.

How can I access and use the Parent Report?The Parent Report is a feature available to all families that provides a log of the classes your child has attended, including the class title, date, and number of sessions attended. To use this feature, simply register your child's attendance by clicking the Register Attendance button before they join a live or on-demand class. Select your child from the box that appears, and the data will sync to your Parent Report. You can access your Parent Report under the Account Information tab.

I have a question about a specific class. Who do I contact?To get in touch with your teacher regarding specific classes, email them directly. The email addresses for all teachers can be found on the supply list for the respective classes. Reaching out to your teacher directly is the quickest and most effective way to get your questions answered and receive the assistance you need.

My plan expired. Why did this happen?All of our subscription plans are valid for precisely 10 months and automatically cancel at the end of that term. To continue enjoying our programs, you must manually re-enroll in one of our options from our website.

Does this program include everything my child needs to home school?Our homeschool program is designed to supplement your child's education journey. Not only do we offer live classes, we also provide exciting learning opportunities for your child every week. Most of our families continue with their current home school curriculum (e.g., Acellus, The Good, and the Beautiful, etc.) and use our classes to enrich their education. Our All Star Learning Pod Program and Rockets Program have access to additional lessons in reading, writing, and math, along with our live classes. Please note that we do not provide grades or reports for our live classes, but we are dedicated to ensuring that your child receives an engaging and fulfilling homeschool experience.

What is the Difference between the All Stars Learning Pod Program, Rockets Program, and the Launch Pad Program?The All Stars Learning Pod Program is our highest tier enrollment option and provides exclusive access to one of our All Star Learning Pods. Our All Star Learning Pods are a small group of students (no more than 10 students per pod). The Learning Pods meet 2x a week, for 60 minutes per session. The All Stars Learning Pods have a strong focus on academics and the curriculum is tailored to meet the unique needs of each student in the learning pods. Our All Star Learning Pod students also gain exclusive access to All Star only live classes, only available to students enrolled in the All Stars plan. The Rockets Program includes access to weekly group classes based on age, grade level and individual needs. Additionally, Rocket Program students may attend Learning Pal classes - meeting twice a week for 30 minutes with the same teacher and group of students. The Rocket Program now includes access to more classes, including reading, writing, math, science, social studies, arts and crafts and foreign language. All Rockets Program students also have access to the Unlimited Program's classes. Our Launch Pad Program is our most affordable enrollment option. The live classes in our Launch Pad cover a variety of academic subjects - reading, writing, math, science, social studies, arts and crafts, and more! There are no attendance caps, and class sizes may vary. Our highly trained teachers lead engaging virtual classes for larger groups of students. All of our enrollment options offer a variety of engaging and educational classes to support your homeschool journey, and are intended to fit every budget.

What curriculum do you use? Are your classes Common Core aligned?Our classes are as unique as each child enrolled in our program. Our teachers utilize their expertise in education and homeschooling to create personalized lessons that result in engaging learning experiences. We value creativity and understand that no set of standards is a perfect fit for all children. We do not follow a set group of standards or common core. If you have questions about a class's content, please reach out to the teacher for clarification.

What curriculum do you use?Our highly engaging curriculum, designed by experienced educators with a research-based approach to learning, includes weekly live instruction. This includes learning materials such as videos, student worksheets (printable and digital), and live teaching support. All curriculum is provided during our live teaching sessions.

Traditional curriculum options use a "set" curriculum that provides students with lessons, practice activities, and problems, but this approach doesn't tailor to each student's individual learning needs. We take a different approach to curriculum selection. Each teacher on our team uses their extensive background in education and homeschooling to create engaging, student-led classes. Our teachers have developed an extensive "toolbox" of learning materials and class activities, uniquely aligned to each class offering. With such a variety of class topics, students can explore subjects they may not have inquired if they were following a typical one-size-fits-all approach.

Is the age range listed for each class strict? Can my child attend a class if they are not the age listed in the class description?We want all students to feel welcome in any class, no matter their age. The age ranges listed in each class description are meant to guide students toward appropriate content, but that's just our recommendation. Students are unique and progress at their own pace, so we encourage them to try any class that interests them. Please note that we may limit enrollment in our high school level classes, as they discuss more mature topics.

How Many Students Are in Each Live Class?The number of students in each live class depends on the program you choose. Our Launch Pad Program classes offer larger class sizes without an attendance cap, allowing for a dynamic learning experience. Our dedicated teachers ensure that these sessions are managed seamlessly, with ample time for questions and effective delivery of content. For a more intimate setting, our All Stars Learning Pod Program will ensure smaller class sizes (learning pods are 10 students or less), and our Rocket Program classes are designed to be smaller than our Launch Pad Program ones, enabling more personalized attention from the instructor.

Do we have to attend every class?Our programs are incredibly flexible and customized to cater to your unique scheduling and time commitments. With live classes being optional, our students are free to attend as few or as many as they wish, with all the previous classes available on-demand. This means that you can choose to attend any class you missed at a time that best suits you. We understand that life happens, and sometimes schedules have to be re-arranged. This is why we make attending classes at your convenience a top priority.

Can I enroll after the start of the school year?Yes, students can enroll at any time. Our programs run throughout the typical school year (end of August through the end of May), and we offer our Summer Camp programming (beginning of June to early August). Since all of our classes are available on-demand, students can easily catch up if a class requires pre-requisite skills to participate.

What Technology Requirements Will We Need?To access our live classes, you will need to be subscribed to our online platform and have a few technology requirements on hand - a laptop, tablet, iPad, or smartphone, a reliable WiFi connection, and a Zoom account. Everything you need for your child's learning materials will be readily available on our online platform, exclusively for our subscribers.

Why kind of supplies will my child need for class?For each of our classes, we furnish a total list of necessary supplies. While some classes may require students to print out a certain worksheet or note taking sheet for class, others might require specific materials for participation (think: hard copy books for our book clubs or a specific set of ingredients for our baking classes). All class materials are visible to active subscribers only, so you'll have everything you need at your fingertips!

Can I upgrade to the All Stars Learning Pod Program or Rockets Program?To upgrade to the All Stars Learning Pod Program or Rockets Program, simply email us at support@sparklearningpal.com and let us know. After we receive and process your payment, your Launch Pad Program subscription will be cancelled. Then, just manually enroll in the All Stars Learning Pod Program or Rockets Program plan on our website. How do I cancel my subscription?If you want to cancel your subscription, here are some things to keep in mind: For 10 month plans: Your subscription will end automatically after 10 payments. Unfortunately, you cannot cancel early as all 10 month plans are a full 10-month commitment. Be sure to review and accept our terms before enrolling. For Monthly Program Passes: Your plan only lasts for 30 days and will automatically cancel at the end of this time. If you want to keep using our programs after your subscription ends, you will need to re-enroll in one of our program options. You can track your payments by logging in and selecting Account Information in the upper right corner.

Do you offer refunds?Our programs are service-based and taught by live teachers. As such, refunds are not offered. Thank you for understanding.

Is Spark Learning Pals accredited?Spark Learning Pals is not accredited since we are not an online school. However, we offer support to homeschooling families. It is understood that our program does not provide reports, grades, or similar items. Moreover, parents/guardians are responsible for abiding by the applicable homeschooling guidelines and regulations.
